A bed with nothing hard about it. The whole frame, headboard and base, is wrapped in a thick foam surround covered in a soft off-white sherpa, rounded at every edge, so it looks poured rather than built and nobody stubs a toe on a corner. The headboard is low and plain, a soft slab behind the pillows, and along its side rides a small walnut shelf that slides out for a phone, a book or a cup of coffee and tucks away when you do not need it. Underneath, a cold-rolled steel frame and steel slats keep it quiet and hold the mattress without a box spring. It arrives compressed in a single box and grows into shape on your floor.
- A cloud bed: headboard and base wrapped in an 8.7 in foam surround with rounded edges all the way round, covered in a soft off-white sherpa weave.
- A walnut-finish side shelf that slides along the headboard to wherever you want it — a place for a phone, glasses or breakfast in bed — and tucks back when you do not.
- A low, 37.6 in headboard and a low-profile base on non-slip feet: a calm, grounded look that suits Scandinavian, boho and contemporary rooms.
- No sharp corners anywhere, which makes it a good fit for a kids' room or a home with pets.
- Cold-rolled steel frame with steel slats: squeak-free, and no box spring needed.
- CertiPUR-US certified foam and OEKO-TEX certified fabric.
- Takes a standard 76 × 80 in king mattress. Assembled, it measures 90.5 in long, 87 in wide and 37.6 in high, and weighs 79.8 lb.
- Ships compressed in one box. The steel frame goes together quickly; the surround reaches its shape in about 30 minutes and is fully firm in one to two days.
- Also made as a queen and a California king, not on the site yet.
